Was told a few months ago the 1600 might be accessible since it had knobs and such. I was told the menu window is a one line display with about eight options to select from. Thought at the time was it wouldn’t take much to get used to. A touring pro told me about it. Though the touring pro is sighted he said menu wise it is very simple.
Does anyone on the list use a BR1600-CD? The problem is those things as I remember it has a lot of deeper menu options and those things aren’t self voicing. So unless you can play with one to see what limitations you would be working within, a laptop and a small interface would probably be the more accessible portable rig for us. You can still treat a DAW like a “tape Machine” if you want to. It’s up to you how complex you make it.
