Hi! If you definitely want to use the master fader, you have to do the fade-out by automation.
Another way is to bounce all required tracks to a new e.g. stereo track. After that move the insertion point to that location where the fade should start and press Control+G. This will create a fade-out according tot he existing fade settings in the Pro Tools preferences.
