Hi Martin, Sorry for the delayed response. The wording is technically correct. In other words, when a frequency is specified and HF is not enabled, the processing is applied to the specified frequency range. If, however, HF is enabled, the specified frequency range becomes the threshold above which the processing is applied. The Avid de-esser is OK when used sparingly. There are several others out there that work better and even offer dual band de-essing. Hope that helps, Slau
