Hi I have been recording someone reading for me. When I press the record button the PTR1 reports that it is recording to daisy format, 32 kbs and set to reading mode. I am recording to a 5 gb microdrive.
When I try to adjust the recording level, I get the *can't do this* tone. It keeps reporting that the recording level is high and so I would like to bring it down a bit, but it won't let me. If I come out of recording standby mode, I can adjust the recording levels as normal, but then I don't know if it's high, low or good. I haven't upgraded to the latest firmware version, I'm still running on 2.00eng. Any thoughts or help most welcome. Respectfully ...
