Dear Fellow Australians, The united Nations' International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights entitled everyone to a "competent, independent and impartial tribunal". Today, in Court 9A of the NSW Supreme Court, Justice Simpson adjourned proceedings in my case with the St. George Bank until Wednesday, 4/8/99, when she said she would decide whether I can have a jury. I insisted that no judge can make any determination in my case because I have based my Defence on the existence of bank fraud (ie: variable interest rate loans and money creation) and judicial corruption, naming judges. The St. George Bank want my Defence struck out - naturally - and I'm sure the judges want that, too. Will Justice Simpson obey the UN covenant or will she, as other Australian judges continue to do, ignore it and bulldose her way through? Australia judges, from the High Court down, are systematically taking away all our English common law rights. Will they now take away our rights which the United Nations say we have? Anyone wanting to witness Wednesday's showdown, be there!
