This is the crux of the matter!
For example, Data Wikis, I know the first time TimBL attempted a demo of
the aforementioned there were way too many blank stares in the room :-)
In the Information Space dimension, content Wikis have worked wonders
and are inherently viral. Thus, we can pull the same thing off in the
Data Space dimension via Linked Data if more parties could just work
together, a little better. Here's a simple example of what I mean re.

Entity A (an Agent i.e., person or org.) is very good at data access
matters. Entity B (a similar agent) is very good at UI. Today, entities
A and B spend too much energy attacking what each perceives as a short
coming in the others effort without realizing that each has a specific
focus and skill set. Worst of all, these entities don't realize that via
Linked Data they could be perfect partners just by playing to their
respective strengths leveraging LINKs to structured data as the critical
glue.
