DVI does not contain audio. However, no video cards come with true DVI now. What they try to sell as a DVI connector is in fact HDMI (possibly with VGA lines added) and thus is perfectly able to carry audio when used with a DVI-to-HDMI cable. -- Alexander E. Patrakov
