I can't easily test profiles, because when I use module-udev-detect
instead of module-hal-detect, I only get the null sink again:
D: cli-command.c: Checking for existance of '/usr/lib/pulse-0.9.16/modules
/module-udev-detect.so': success
I: module-udev-detect.c: Loaded 0 modules.
I: module.c: Loaded "module-udev-detect" (index: #4; argument: "").
But this may be because I pulled pulseaudio-module-udev in from Ubuntu, as
debian doesn't ship it yet. Also, there is no rules.d/90-pulseaudio.rules
on my system. It will not be until this weekend that I really have the
time to dig deeper.
