You should be able to place that in a file in
/lib/udev/rules.d/90-pulseaudio.rules (copy the original from git). And
then try it out with "udevadm trigger -ssound" and then check with
"udevadm info -qall -p /sys/class/sound/card0/".
The profiles file looks good to me, though I'd probably not use front:xxx
at all anymore. The profiles file does basically what "front:xxx" is
supposed to do: map some logical meaning to the raw hw:xxx devices. And if
we do this then we we should probably go all the way and use hw:xxx
everywhere.
