#736: set-default-sink has no effect? ---------------------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: MartijnB | Owner: lennart Type: defect | Status: new Milestone: | Component: daemon Keywords: set-default-sink, 0.9.21, pacmd | ---------------------------------------------+------------------------------ Version: 0.9.21 (Ubuntu 9.10)
Hi, With previous versions of Ubuntu (so previous versions of Pulseaudio) I was able to create a settingsfile (see attached), which I could run in order to start pulseaudio. In that file I have a line: set-default-sink alsa_output.pci-0000_04_06.0.analog-stereo This should set my second soundcard as default. However; in Ubuntu 9.10 this doesn't seem to work anymore. Any idea why? PS: When running this line in pacmd, it _does_ set my second soundcard as default. -- Ticket URL: <http://pulseaudio.org/ticket/736> PulseAudio <http://pulseaudio.org/> The PulseAudio Sound Server _______________________________________________ pulseaudio-tickets mailing list pulseaudio-tickets@mail.0pointer.de https://tango.0pointer.de/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-tickets
