Issue #2457 has been updated by Luke Kanies. Category set to reports Status changed from Unreviewed to Accepted
I think the routes system (which will be in 0.26) should somehow add the ability to tune these parameters for any of these services, rather than adding new settings for every resource type that we want on a different server. But we're already down that path a bit for reports, so it's worth continuing. ---------------------------------------- Feature #2457: Puppet clients should be able to specify a report_port as well as a reportserver http://projects.reductivelabs.com/issues/2457 Author: Nigel Kersten Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assigned to: Category: reports Target version: Complexity: Unknown Affected version: 0.25.0 Keywords: We can specify a report server with "--reportserver" but we can't actually specify a port. I'm working on a third party report collection server, and would like to be able to specify the port. It also seems inconsistent that we have --server --masterport --ca_server --ca_port --reportserver It seems clear we can't touch server/masterport/ca_server/ca_port, so I suggest we have --report_server and --report_port ? -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
