the RUBYLIB in the rc script is a mistake, should not be there - I have ment to
remove it many times but just never got so far. We should be installing in the
correct place as any administrator of SLES would expect to find the files. To
support an OS doesnt mean to include a hack that make it work, it means to
support the OS including its filesystem standards and packaging and general
approaches.

I will not put in a hack to make it work.

Bug #7441: /etc/init.d/mcollective fix
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/7441

Author: Adam Edwards
Status: Needs More Information
Priority: Normal
Assignee: R.I. Pienaar
Category: Packaging
Target version:
Keywords:
Branch:
Affected mCollective version:

In SLES 11, the RUBYLIB dir is a little different than RedHat. Would you be
able to make the following code change so that it works on SLES out of the box?

/etc/init.d/mcollective script as follows:

Old:
RUBYLIB=/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.8:$RUBYLIB

New:
RUBYLIB=/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.8:/usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8:$RUBYLIB
