Issue #7441 has been updated by Adam Edwards.

thank you for showing me that! I will compile my own version for suse going
forward I guess. (Unless this can be incorporated into the build process?)

The only other small thing is that SLES 11.1 doesn't appear to have the
"success|failure" functions. I "hacked" around it in my current install by
manually adding the function. Is there any chance on adding something like
this to the /etc/init.d/mcollective script?

my_success() {
  if [ "`type -t 'echo_success' 2>/dev/null`" = 'function' ]; then
    success $1
  else
    echo -n "$1"
  fi
}

Author: Adam Edwards
Status: Needs More Information
Priority: Normal
Assignee: R.I. Pienaar
Category: Packaging
Target version:
Keywords:
Branch:
Affected mCollective version:

In SLES 11, the RUBYLIB dir is a little different than RedHat. Would you be
able to make the following code change so that it works on SLES out of the box?

/etc/init.d/mcollective script as follows:

Old:
RUBYLIB=/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.8:$RUBYLIB

New:
RUBYLIB=/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.8:/usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8:$RUBYLIB
