This is backwards. Puppet 2.7 is _broken_ on windows because of this issue. Putting the fix in Facter 2.0 doesn't fix the broken state of Puppet on windows in 2.7. I understand the notion that Puppet 2.7.x is a "stable branch" and not wanting to upset that stability, however it's clearly broken and _not stable_. The same thing goes for Facter 1.6.x.
