Issue #14682 has been updated by Carl Caum.

Well no. We used the Mac Mini because sufficient hardware wasn't available at
the time. Since we had to purchase hardware, we didn't want to wait two weeks
for something to ship, so we chose Mac which allowed us to pick up a machine
same day that would match (or so we thought) our requirements. I agree with
Max that we should probably attempt to get multiple dedicated machines to
properly run the tests. I'd be more than happy to meet with you guys to come
up with a plan. The testing VMs are fully puppetized so it shouldn't be
difficult to have a dedicated machine for each current VM.

"Scale", our dedicated performance testing node is built on an OSX; OSX is a
fun desktop OS, but is not suitable for remote management and monitoring. This
environments needs to be puppetized for easy deployment. OPS will supply a
proper debian based box to use as a host. QA will integrate the new box into
Jenkins when it is ready.
