Doh!  I just wasn't thinking clearly; it's being executed, not sourced, so
the modified values of $PATH & $RUBYLIB don't reach the caller.


Yes, I could be smarter about re-ordering the existing list if a path
element already exists in the list, but treating PATH as a stack and pushing
everything to the front in the order we need works and is much more simple
if not as efficient.
