I would also like to keep getting these emails, on the other hand some I
can "understand" that feedback, as some things recently changed:

* puppetlabs has a lot more devs -> more patches -> (hopefully) a faster
moving forward puppet
* introduction of RFCs and other dev, but non patch, discussion. People
looking for help to create types and so on.

Regarding, not terrible useful: I can only imagine, that some people
would like to continue to read the RFCs, the general dev discussion, but
not to work through the patches.

So we have actually now 2 kinds of discussion, where some people might
only be interested in 1 of the 2. So imho there are 2 options:

A) leave the filtering out of the users, which might mean that some
people are "pissed off" regarding the amount of traffic.
B) create another list (if you have problem, just create a new list...)
where either the general discussion takes place or where the patches are
sent to. This can complicate things on where suddenly appearing
discussions around a problem might happen, however I'm sure people can
workout a best way to deal with these things.

Furthermore, I would like to second Brice, that I like to get mails for
such things, because this is _my_ easiest way to follow things. Browsing
to a webservice doesn't really fit into my workflow...

So besides if there will be a patchreview-webservice, there are still
people who would like to get (and do!) that stuff by mail, so we anyway
need to decide on one of the 2 possibilities.

I'm totally fine to go with option B), although it will make some stuff
slightly more complex, but I think we can figure that out.
