Hi all! I am new here. I discovered puredyne a couple of months ago, but
decided to wait for miso so I could install this version. Following the
instructions, it appeared that everything was going fine - but when I try to
install puredyne on top of Lenny I get these same errors. I guess I am happy
that at least it is not only my imagination!

I used Synaptic to install liblame0, but then when I try to install puredyne
I'm told it will be removed. Also, xjadeo has broken depends of libavcodec1d,
libavformat1d, and libavutil1d. Instead I have libavcodec51, libavformat52, and
libavutil49. And instead of being marked cvs20070307, they say svn20080206-8,
so I am guessing that these are the wrong versions here. I'm a bit n00b so I
don't know how to force install the versions I want.

Thanks for helping us to get these things sorted out!
CJ

Yes I get a catch-22 situation, since installing pd-pidip requires
liblame0, installing liblame0 removes pd-pdp, and puredyne-puredata
includes both of these pd-pidip and pd-pdp.

# apt-get install liblame0
...
The following packages will be REMOVED
  libavcodec51 libmp3lame0 libquicktime1 pd-pdp
The following NEW packages will be installed
  liblame0
