I had a similar problem once... I think the only ways I found to solve this was to get rid of any autostarted app in xfce and .xinitrc, delete the xfce4 session folder (after loging out unticking the save session box) and deleting the xfce4 preferences. It's a bit extreme but that's the only thing that worked... I believe it was a bug due to the combination of different things because I haven't seen such a behaviour since then. a. > > > On Fri, Oct 24, 2008 at 12:23 PM, potax flan <[email protected]> wrote: > > good to know alternatives to the rather clumsy wifi-radar. > nm-applet works like a charm so far, thanks! > p > > > On Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 2:03 PM, aymeric mansoux <[email protected]> > wrote: > > krgn said : > > I don't know wifi-radar myself either so I can help on that one. p:d > now > > defaults to network-manager-gnome and the nm-applet, > > Yup, we wanted to use wicd at 1st, and I think there is an old dodgy > package on the repos (at the time it was only on Ubuntu, so we made a > Debian one).
