i tried to edit /etc/X11/xorg then did "sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg" but this does not change the xorg file. i renamed xorg file with new name, run the dpkg command again but this does not write a new xorg file. i dont know what more to do...

hi

how it is possible that too computers with same system, same /etc/apt/sources.list settings install different packages?

i just installed monodevelop in my desktop machine and aptitude installed monodevelop 2.0 then went to the laptop and i get monodevelop 1.0 there. i did a previous aptitude update in both...

argg... now i did a "safe" upgrade on the laptop and X wont start any more. great. really safe.
