It would help to know what kind of error you got.

Otherwise, just to echo Bernardo's comment,

which is why amd64 is a generic architecture name for both AMD and Intel
64 bits CPUs.

AFAIK none of the current Puredyne dev owns such a recent CPU, so it
might require a bit of effort to check if whether or not Puredyne's
kernel is fine with the machine you'd like to use.
