What way? It would help to know what kind of error you got. Otherwise, just to echo Bernardo's comment, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X86-64#History_of_Intel_64 which is why amd64 is a generic architecture name for both AMD and Intel 64 bits CPUs.
