Cool! Kxstudio is one of the alternatives I was considering. The fact that "everything goes through jack2" is attractive to me.
Are you using the rt kernel? I think I would have to, if I want to use ffado on my (old-enough to be compatible!) MOTU Ultralite.
I'll relax a bit then. For awhile it was looking like I would have to make a painful choice between a few unappealing alternatives.
