I've checked the documentation and it seems to support it (in our case at least, since we have direct connection - correct me if I am wrong): From [1], the documentation for dhcp-host: " Note that in IPv6 DHCP, the hardware address may not be available, though it normally is for direct-connected clients, or clients using DHCP relays which support RFC 6939. " Maybe the issue here are the respective fwbr interfaces inbetween?
