Okay, it looks like this is the same bug, and its not IB specific.  It
was fixed in CVS right after the 2.7.1 release.

To test CVS you shouldnt need to recreate the filesystem, but I think
you need to rebuild the server bins with CVS source also because there
is a different minor version number in the CVS code that can get
mismatched and things might get angry then.

If you want to run with 2.7.1, I would just use pvfs2-lsplus for now.
I'm not sure when the next release will occur.
