Actually pvfs2-ls is several orders of magnitude faster when working with directories with several thousand files in. About your problem I've never seen anything like this. However I ran into some trouble running plain vanilla 2.7.1 and had usually much better results with the CVS version. However I don't know the current state of the CVS tree : I only update as needed, and "if it ain't broken, don't fix it". This may possibly related to IB; I didn't test it and I know it's somewhat less tested generally than plain TCP. -- -------------------------------------------------- Emmanuel Florac www.intellique.com -------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ Pvfs2-users mailing list [email protected] http://www.beowulf-underground.org/mailman/listinfo/pvfs2-users
