Yup. We've seen this too. I guess *s would be better, but those are
already used.

In my formatter, you only need one _. Habituated to ---- is no excuse.

Agreed. I would have use [] in the syntax, but we needed backwards
compatibility to **, so no deal.
I think we are all somewhat agree on what the right syntax should be. I
just don't know if it is worth switching. I have been loosely working on
a syntax for my personal swiki project. I think it is coming out okay.
I'm putting it on the backburner, because I need to get some work done on
Beta 10. Right now I have so much planned for Beta 10, you will probably
not recognize it.
