I suppose you changed both alertSender and alertServer under refs settings. And, you are using Swiki 1.1. And, you put it an e-mail address in the e-mail alert notification box when editing a Swiki page. And, you saved it twice (the first time you put in the alert e-mail, it does not send out notification). If all of these things are true, then it may be that your server is not sending the mail.
