Well, I refreshed it repeatedly and it was _blisteringly_ fast. I mean, I don't think Id have seen anything faster if the page was on localhost. This makes me think..... :-0 I know you're using IE 'cos it crashes Netscape on reply to: (don't even need to look at the headers!) Have you tried looking at/refreshing the page in Netscape (I'd suggest a 4.7* version)? We could be looking at two different issues here: 1. I.E's rather bizzare behaviour on refresh 2. Win 2000 issues as a ComSwiki host. Any ideas, Jochen? I'm not sure of the format of the original pages, but some Swiki's tend to "run out of steam" if asked to serve a large number of images on one page (even BSS, blessed be its name, does this on occassion). I remember some stuff from Lex in the main Squeak list about this. A short term solution might be to put just one or two images on a page. Cheers John -- They're afraid, very afraid...... Now, where did I put that stake and mallet? http://www.newsforge.com/article.pl?sid=02/01/16/0310222&mode=nocomment
