The debugger won't start on a fresh eclipse install. Friend of mine has it working, with the same configurations, distro (archlinux), etc... These is what I get in the error dialog: Unexpected error setting up the debugger Socket closed And this is what I get in the console: pydev debugger server timed out after 10 seconds, could not connect to localhost:6469 Exiting. Bye! I'm running eclipse 3.3.1.1 with pydev 1.3.13 [all of which are in the archlinux repos] I hope some solution can be found.
