Actually what did happen in the beginning is that brew did install Python once I opened another terminal and did brew install pygame. I did not install pygame! I'm hoping your "tap" suggestion will take care of that eventually. However this was in addition to the Python I had in Anaconda.
So, I removed all the things that brew installed (did brew list and just got rid of the things) to get back to where I was. I will need to see how to link the brew so that it will see I have python and just add on pygame. Perhaps I am mistaken with all this - so I will google anaconda and brew and see how to do this. Then I'll "tap" and see where I get. However, it is nice that I was able to actually remove and return back to where I was. At least I am beginning to get somewhere now! I appreciate all your time.
