Hi Sounds great! There is no plan yet; any model loading code would be added to trunk/experimental for now. In the long term I imagine we'll have a common API for loading and manipulating 3D data, but this could be some way off.
If you'd like to maintain the collada/x3d/3ds code in pyglet's trunk that's no problem, I can give you the commit bits. Cheers Alex.
