Count me +1 on this one. Actually I want the gamma ramp for a similar
reason to Martin (I maintain PsychoPy, with similar goals to Vision
Egg), but I've definitely seen the ability to alter the screen gamma
on pretty much every 3D game I've played.
Will be very useful if there isnt a principled reason against it.
