Are you sure you're not confusing your code with Tartley's? His approach -is- pretty much how you use pyglet, whereas your's seems an incomprehensible mishmash of illegal statements & pipe dreams. If you're confused by the event model being used, or the 'on_event' naming that's going on, you could at least -ask-, instead of bashing someone's attempt to help from your own position of ignorance.
