Another thing ... My game would need 2D and 3D assets. I've got a lot of .obj files and in Will McGugan's "Beginning Game Development with Python and Pygame" there is a loader class. However it requires Pygame. Tried to install Pygame from the official site (Mac package) pygame-1.8.1release-py2.5-macosx10.5 but installer failed saying I'd lack a system wide install of Python 2.3+.
Any ideas? Do I even need Pygame? I'd rather not install it just for a .obj loader. Could I adopt said loader to pyglet? Tried installing miru (which brings it's own .obj loader), but it failed because I don't have the Developer Tools installed, which miru seemingly needs for compilation. One one those things you're just expected to know. Does miru still make sense? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pyglet-users" group.
