This is related to my earlier problem of getting Pyglet to work on 64- bit Windows 7, but since it is specific to the add-on library AVbin I am starting a new thread.
After downloading and installing the win32 version of AVbin I find it is not being picked up by Pyglet. A search found this note about compiling for win64: http://code.google.com/p/avbin/issues/detail?id=9 But such a version does not seem to be available. There is no win32 version listed in the downloads. How perplexing.
