Yes, I did not use the installer, since it failed for me. The problem is in AVbin since the readme contains only instructions for 32-bit Windows. And the name of the ZIP implies only 32-bit Windows. There is nothing to tell me whether the DLL should work on 64- bit Windows and, if so, where it should go. Popping out one scope, it would sure be nice if AVbin could be compiled as a PYD file. This would have the advantage of not requiring any Windows folder messing. Plus it simplifies distribution. And then Pyglet could truly be "batteries included." I have written the same for a blog article, upcoming.
