Why not just use python? I can't think of a good reason to have WebKit in pyglet when you could just add it to your project yourself although it seems redundant. Pyglet can already render pretty much whatever you like on screen so why add an HTML/css renderer and a JavaScript engine. It seems like an awful lot of bloat for something that can already be done. The standard library also gives you several ways to open a browser.
