Quite a story there. The automatic syncing option is clearly out of
question.
What the svn might still be good for though is file exchanges. Instead
of having to upload various patches to a remote server you hit commit.
The actual connection between svn and git repositories could be an
rsync like file copy from git to svn on a local filesystem. I admit it
sounds contrived.
