New Gtk/PyGtk Book

I am just starting to learn PyGtk and I must say I think it is a real
drawback that the newest books about it are(as far as I know) at least 4
years old and cover only Gtk 1. Regarding that Gtk 3 is around the
corner I hope some have already started to write a book like

1. PyGTK/Gtk Introduction(Short Chapter)
(What is Gtk, ..., New Gtk3 features)
2. Portable PyGtk 3 Programming(Very long)
meaning PyGtk 3 programming with regard to OS Portability
(Windows(e.g. glib, handling multiple threads), Mac,code examples also on book
CD)
3. Rapid Development with Glade/PyGtk 3(Long)
(Glade Introduction(short), RAD with Glade/PyGtk 3
advantages/disadvantages(short), Rapid Development Concepts(long) explained and
demonstrated on 1 continuing example/project(source code (also) on book CD) )

4.Gnome
(short, but I certainly wouldn't mind if there is a lengthy and detailed
supplement chapter on the book CD)

Ok, Gtk 3 doesn't exist yet, but I think the rapid development concepts and
finding/develop a good example for the rad chapter, the Gtk Introduction and
some parts of 2 and 4... could already be done and keep YOU , or the authors
and coauthors respectively, easily busy till Gtk 3 is released. Apart from that
it could also be done on Gtk 2, because there isn't any book about it(and maybe
update it in a later edition to Gtk 3). I think discussing portable PyGtk
programming in the book is important. Python is designed to be a portable
language, hence it would make sense to write a portable Gtk GUI. Furthermore I
don't know of any book dealing with portable GUI programming with Gtk.

PS:And no, I can't write it, not only I am a newbie, but I am also in my final
three months of my study and in addition I have to write on my dissertation.
