A rhetorical question of course! I think it's a pretty good way to develop *cross-platform* apps too, but I think that this would really benefit from some documentation that tackles the problems of PyGTK on Windows, especially on how to create distributables/installers -- with *or* without bundled Python and GTK+ runtimes. This is where orchestrations of python, gtk, distutils, pygtk (+pycairo etc?) and py2exe get a bit confusing (and if your project includes SWIG modules as well then that's a whole extra headache).
