It appears to be on offer, so prepare to be amazed :). I think it goes without saying that I fully support the adoption by a foundation, as proposed by Kees, with PSF being my first choice. I would also like to normalise all licenses for the purpose of reassuring business users. I broadly agree about unit testing, however it's not a priority for me since user-tested major releases have been very reliable, we're using 0.8 so I don't really care if main trunk is unstable, although it's in everyone's interest to make sure it's reasonable. Certainly nobody would stand in the way of initiatives like unit-testing or the other stuff you guys have been discussing if we were adopted by the PSF. I'm not completely clear on how the community would reach agreement on anything contentious yet. As far as I can see we're talking about quite a laissez-faire arrangement. James
