I agree. I also add that since most of this add-ons will be probably developed by people outside of core Pylons team it is crucial that Pylons provides accessible documentation. The codebase and architecture is excellent but figuring out how to do some (simple) things is unnecessarily complicated and obscure process. I want comprehensive and easy-to-use documentation for the foundation and IMO this could do most to boost application development and gaining traction in general.
