on windows I still don't think py2exe deals with eggs well enough to 
freeze a pylons app, but bbfreeze works great, I froze my app, burned it 
to dvd and took to another computer without python and it runs great!.  
Still working on making it look pretty, thinking of wrapping it all in a 
nice wxapp, but for my demo it really did the trick
