I heartily agree. Really, thinking more I humbly beseech the Pylons core developers to take a look at the history of other projects that *just stopped* when they were done (mochikit???? it used to be the cat's pajamas, now you would be crazy to use it on a commercial project with any other decision makers than yourself ). I think we will find that a public perception that a project stagnating is enough to seriously hurt adoption, and that in the long run that it will kill adoption as sure as crappy docs or broken releases do. Now if the developers don't care whether any one else uses it, that's fine, thats's their right, ( which is what Bob said about mochikit ). But if that is the case with Pylons, then I'd like to know *now* so I can look elsewhere, because I know full well that I don't want to repeat the TG1 scenario of having to justify to clients why I used a project perceived to be dead two years later. However, I'll be really disappointed if that is the case. :/ iain --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pylons-discuss" group.
