I have to ask about this... I have been trying for 2 hours to restart my paster server, with no luck.
I've tried "forcing" the file, but there is no existing PID file, and it won't save a new one because the port is in use. I've tried killing processes, restarting/stop/starting paster servers... everything I can think of. Can you explain a little more about "forcing the filename"?
