Not sure if this is the right way, but I always just run 'killall paster' and it does the trick. Have you tried that?

I've tried "forcing" the file, but there is no existing PID file, and it won't save a new one because the port is in use. I've tried killing processes, restarting/stop/starting paster servers... everything I can think of. Can you explain a little more about "forcing the filename"? I can't seem to create or load any PID files... Thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pylons-discuss" group.
