We're indy too but could kick in $50. That said, please do not just trim the expert oriented stuff and have it nowhere, that will seriously lower the quality of the docs for complex applications and people weighing up pyramid for those kinds of purposes. You'll just be hiding lots of the best reasons to use Pyramid. For god's sake, fork the pages in to two versions or something. I totally get the need, but simply trimming the docs is going to negatively affect them for many of your users, and those users are influencers (ie they encourage others to try pyramid, help others with pyramid, etc ).
