PyLucene on debian... Hm...

I have not been able to get PyLucene working on Ubuntu with gcj 4. I've been using gcj 3.4.6. Same on Windows. I've never used Debian (Ubuntu is related, though).

On Gentoo, I've been able to use gcj 4.1.0 only with patches, though.
Does 'make test' pass all tests for your Debian / gcj 4.0.3 build ?

The only place I use gcj 4 is on Intel Mac OS X, and that is gcj 4.0.2 heavily patched. Everywhere else, I use gcj 3.4.6.

Andi..
