Hi Doug, This was a bug in the v1.3 of PyMOL. The fix was posted to the open-source project a while ago. Until the next release, the easiest way to correct this bug is to replace your PYMOL_HOME/modules/pymol/wizard/measurement.py with the file from SVN (http://pymol.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pymol/trunk/pymol/modules/pymol/wizard/measurement.py?view=markup&pathrev=3920 click "download" to save the file).
