Really Jason, the volumetric images on the site are superb! Is the code already in the svn version? I'd really like to get my hands on it and incorporate use it scriptwise :)
On another note, you might be interested in the routines laid down in doi 10.1109/TVCG.2009.138 If you care, I could probably poke the authors to aid in the implementation.
